Sanjay JumaniRutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
Sanjay grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Public Health. Throughout undergrad, he was active in research, teaching, and community service, working closely with underserved populations in Baltimore. During medical school, he was an advocate for community health, and he developed an interest in primary care for the urban underserved. He served as the director for his medical school’s student run free clinic, and managed various QI projects which he presented at national conferences. He is a Gold Humanism Honor Society inductee and has been recognized with awards based on his work in global health, community health, social determinants of health. Sanjay’s interests include quality improvement, care of children and adults with chronic conditions of childhood, medical education and health care delivery, and health care policy and administration. In his free time, Sanjay enjoys photography, trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and eating dessert, particularly tiramisu.
