Biographical Info
Daniela was born in Washington, DC. She went to Bard College for undergrad where she majored in music composition. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and is also a member of the National Health Services Corps. She served as a Thomas J Watson Fellow, studying leprosy in India, Madagascar, Uganda, Thailand, and Indonesia. She also wrote and illustrated the Moon Prince and the Sea, a children’s book that explores illness and death in a way that is comforting for children and families. She is actively contemplating becoming a dog mom and enjoys exploring the Hyde Park neighborhood in her free time.
