Rita Rossi-Foulkes (Program Director) completed her Medicine-Pediatrics residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 1993. She received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Science and Research from Rush in 2003. Before accepting the position of Program Director here in 2006, she was the Associate Program Director and later Program Director at Rush for almost ten years. Dr. Rossi-Foulkes academic and clinical interests include Transition Care (care for adolescents and young adults with chronic childhood conditions), promoting cultural competence, reducing health care disparities, and promoting resilience. Dr. Rossi-Foulkes is the founder and director of Med-Peds PATHways (Program for Adolescent and young Adult Transition to Health).
